Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope your family enjoyed a summer filled with rest, laughter,
and special memories. It is with great excitement that I welcome our returning families and those joining
our school community for the very first time.
This year, our theme is "Soaring to New Heights." These words remind us that every child has
unlimited potential and that, together, we can help each scholar rise with confidence, courage, and a
love for learning. Whether our students are taking their very first steps into school or preparing for new
academic challenges, we believe every day is an opportunity to grow, dream, and achieve something
extraordinary.

Welcome to a new school year! My
name is Mrs. Tath-Slezak, and I am
excited to be back as a Program
Specialist at Myers Elementary. I look
forward to working together to support
your child's academic growth, creativity,
and success. We have many engaging
learning experiences planned, including
hands-on projects, STEM activities, field
trips, special events, and school-wide
celebrations. I am excited to create a
positive and enriching environment
where every student can learn, grow,
