English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
What is ELAC?
The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a parent group that works together with school staff to support the success of students learning English.
ELAC gives parents an important voice in how our school serves English Learners and helps ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.
Who Can Join?
All parents and guardians are welcome to attend ELAC meetings!
Parents of English Learners are especially encouraged to join, share their experiences, and provide input on school programs.
No prior experience is needed — just a desire to help our students thrive!
What Does ELAC Do?
ELAC members:

Advise the principal and school staff on programs and services for English Learners

Review and provide feedback on the school’s plan for English Learner achievement

Discuss ways to strengthen family engagement and communication

Help plan workshops and activities that support English Learners and their families

Meeting Information
ELAC meetings are held once a month at 8:30 am - 9:30 am in the MU Room.
All parents are invited to attend — we value your input and participation.

In accordance with section 54953.2 of the Government code, individuals may make a request for disability related modifications or accommodations, including auxiliary aides or services, in order to participate in public meeting.
